Within the confines of this God forsake desert resides a restaurant called, strangely enough; “The Cuban Club.” Go figure. Its specialty, and I find this a bit odd, is “fried rice.” Additionally, they concoct what is referred to as Cuban cuisine prepared by the local Philippine’s. So far, I seem to be the only local resident that finds this arrangement remotely mind boggling. Nevertheless,, these same locals also classify Taco Bell as quality Mexican cuisine. Enough said.

On a brighter side, the military, in their infinite wit and wisdom constructed what they refer to as an up-scale dining facility title; “The Bay View.” Lady’s and gentleman, the concept of placing tablecloths and lit candles on folding card-tables does not qualify as superior dining. Granted, it’s the only facility that mandates we wear shirts and shoes to enter this holy ground however, you can put a pig in a suit however it’s still a pig.
