 Most of us can truly appreciate the beauty of high performance toys. Although this site is dedicated to Ford Mustangs, the term “high performance toy” should not be isolated to cars. We have each owned or coveted at one time or another, the high performance computer, firearm, kitchen appliance, or John Deer lawn mower. To each, their own, and by all means indulge at least once before final judgment day.
I am not ashamed to admit my adolescent fascination with fast cars and the fact I can’t differentiate between an air filter and stick shift. To the true car enthusiast, this admittance should automatically banish anyone from owning anything that goes 0 to 60 in under 5 days. Nevertheless, considering we still live within a theoretically free society, I shall continue to shamelessly own and drive a fast car. Granted, I may never posses the opportunity to legally park something in my garage I truly desire, however, I shall continue to own something guaranteed to occasionally get me in trouble... |
